A contemporary artist whose work encapsulates her passion for sustainability, diversity, inclusivity, transformation, unity and climate change. The artist’s oeuvre has evolved over several decades in the form of paintings, installations and videos, which showcase firstly our journey exploring our innermost selves; our demons, our internal struggles, our own peeling off of the layers of the self, self - revelation, transformation and renewal. The work reflects on our compunction to change, improve and grow, as well as our seeking of compassion for our inner child and the extending of this compassion to the other, to the outsider, to the alien.
Anoma’s art has been displayed internationally at Sotheby's Hong Kong show and the Venice Biennale 2019 and at galleries in London, Dubai, New Delhi, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Sydney and in Sri Lanka as well. She is an alumni and former lecturer at Central Saint Martins.

Mi Casa Es tu Casa - my home is your home
Thoughts on harmony, inclusivity, diversity and migration are encompassed in Mi Casa Es Tu Casa. This trilingual installation combines quotes on inclusivity, abstract images of nature and maps of Sri Lanka as it’s backdrop. Venuri Perera performs within the installation to the score by Ranga Dissanayake alongside the powerful words of Arundhati Roy.
I Hear those Voices that will not be Drowned
The installation of mirrors and floating, swirling images of men, women and children provides the dynamic space for an intimate performance by Venuri Perera which evokes feelings of loss, memory and displacement; and embraces our longing for truth, love and our constant hope for healing and renewal.
The protection and celebration of nature and our fragile planet, is a collaborative work of the paintings underscored with sounds of nature and combined with the haunting poetry written specially for Deliverance by Ramya Chamalie Jirasinghe.
