Once Upon a Design: Storytelling or How to Recognize We Are Human

Storytelling has bridged generations and cultures for centuries. This talk explores the essence of storytelling, from its origins to its modern-day applications, showing how narrative tools are critical to all design fields.

With an academic foundation in History from Universidad de Antioquia and a Pedagogical Diploma from Politécnico Colombiano, Nivola’s educational journey is enhanced by a specialized degree from MAF Malmö Amartorteater Forum and Varlspoesidagen, both esteemed for their commitment to fostering South American artistic talent. His academic path also includes a scholarship for advanced scriptwriting studies at CIBEF in Mexico. His international teaching experience includes exchanges with students at Malmö Latinskola and the design of visual pieces for Varlspoesidagen’s renowned international poetry festival.
