About The Event
Celebrate the living tradition of traditional Sri Lankan art with this exclusive lotus drawing experience, presented in collaboration with Soul Ink Tattoo Studio. This intimate session explores the intricate techniques and rich cultural symbolism of the lotus an iconic motif in the island's art history.
The experience is led by Udvitva (Uditha Rangana), founder of Soul Ink, a leading figure in translating ancient Sri Lankan art into contemporary tattoos, and master artist Asanka Abeywickram, a visiting lecturer and expert in traditional art, deeply inspired by the Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, and Kandyan art eras.
