According to Sachini Imbldeniya, Executive Creative Director of the newly launched HOO agency in London, there's still a way to go. In this talk she candidly discusses her experiences as an industry leader in the UK and delves into killing off some of the taboos, prejudices and old ways of thinking that will help Sri Lanka to spark its own creative revolution.

Sachini is a fierce advocate for improving diversity and equality in our industry. From producing a short-film for the United Nations supporting immigrant key workers that amassed over 300 million views worldwide to founding an award-winning photography and illustration agency with a mission to create a fairer world for underrepresented artists.

With two decades of experience under her belt, Sachini has worked across editorial publications like The Sunday Times Magazine and GQ and commercially with an array of clients including Gucci, Google, Cartier, Harrods, British Airways, Samsung, Audi and Clarins.

She is also a regular judge for Creative Review and D&AD with her own awards and accolades including: Campaign’s Female Frontier Awards: Honouree for Diversity & Inclusion, Campaign x Creative Equals Future Leaders List and Creative Pool Annual: Top 100 Creative Leaders of the Year.
