A captivating and eye opening documentary focusing on bamboo as a building material and the future of the bamboo industry in Sri Lanka followed by a discussion with the heart and soul behind this movement.
The documentary recounts a 12-day bamboo workshop with one of the best bamboo carpenters in the world, Mr Jorg Stamm. Foreign participants and 10 local carpenters learnt how to select, process, prepare and build with the magnificent material that is bamboo.
Julien’s career spans a decade in digital marketing and online sales. He obtained an MBA from the prestigious INSEEC U business school in France.
Aoife’s career has been built on a strong foundation in design principles, critical thinking, and writing. She received a BA in Design for Stage and Screen (IADT, Ireland), a discipline focused on interactive design and storytelling, before embarking on a diverse path in the creative industries.
Academically qualified in the sciences, and with a passion for documentary filmmaking, Nuwan Attanayake is a firm believer that nurturing ideas through storytelling can bring about much needed change to society and our planet.
